Overview
Summary We are working with a fabulous Pub group with 90 sites based in the south of England. Fantastic food, beautiful locations with a great reputation to boot. This role is within the ever expanding Destination Inns concept. We need a Head Chef who has a passion for fresh food, excellent cooking skills and will be responsible all aspects of the kitchen including motivating the brigade in this fast moving environment. Previous experience of working in a busy kitchen at Head chef level is essential, you must be willing to take on responsibility and remain calm under pressure.This is a busy kitchen serving in excess 2000 meals per week, experience of managing a high volume food business is required You must be eligible to work in the UK with a valid UK bank account and NI number. The Role Delivering the food concept to Company standard and exceeding guests expectations All aspects of food stock control including ordering, taking deliveries,stock taking,control of wastage Delivering food GP% to budget Recruitment,training and development of the kitchen team so they can reach their potential Excellent communications skills Exemplary standards of personal hygiene and presentation Pass both external and internal audits A strong understanding of food health and safety Health And Safety Compliance in line with company policy and Law You Must have experience as a Head Chef with at least 2 years experience. Must come from a food led Gastro Pub or Restaurant.
