Head Of Purchasing Manager, Chelmsford - Highly Competitive Package Ideal applicant will have experience sourcing electrical/mechanical finished good for sale by retail and wholesale. ( Far East experience essential ) We are looking to recruit an experienced Purchasing Manager who wants to progress to Group Purchasing Director. Our client is based in the Leicester area and on the look out for candidates that operated at Purchasing Manager or Head Of Purchasing level. The ideal candidates will need to have strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Key requirements for the role will include; 5 years experience of purchasing in DIY, Automotive, Industrial and Export worldwide 3 years in a Purchasing Director or Head of Purchasing capacity Experience of both strategic and operational management of a team in excess of 10 plus heads, with strong management skills - able to coach and mentor staff to higher levels of achievement Strong internal and external Stakeholder engagement skills Strong ERP/MRP and IT skills (excel) An understanding of lean techniques and global sourcing The Business The successful candidate will be joining a leading hardgood supplier/organisation.
