Overview

Our client a successful and growing regional group of garden centres are currently looking to recruit a Head Chef for their large cafe restaurant near Farnham, Surrey The client will be looking for a Head Chef highly competent in a busy service environment, with the ability to drive a motivate a strong team and be hands on in their role. The restaurant is a large, fast-paced Café Bar that serves high quality, freshly prepared food. The successful Chef must have strong competent catering experience in a retail/ restaurant environment and be able to work well under pressure. Previous experience and qualifications in managing food hygiene/safety is essential. Free Parking Key Competences Ensure all food produced is of good quality and well presented Ensure that all food is stored to the company requirements Ensure that all food is stored to the company's standards and HACCP guidelines Ensure all food produced is of acceptable quality/temperature Ensure all temperature checks are carried out and correctly recorded Ensure food/stock is correctly stored and rotate Accurately complete food safety diary, on a daily basis Produce all food recipes to specification Strictly adhere to all relevant food safety and hygiene regulations at all times Lead the kitchen team Work as part of the Café Bar team undertaking any other reasonable duties as and when required Daytime Hours Alternate Weekends Your application to this role will automatically send us your CV and associated details which we will use to contact you about this and other job opportunities.
