HEAD CHEF – creative – award winning – £48,000 - An exciting opportunity to join a small, independently owned hotel. This family run business has flourished over the years, expanding and developing their food offering and gaining plenty of awards and accolades along the way. After several happy years at the hotel their current Head Chef is moving abroad and they are now looking for an equally talented and committed Head Chef to take his place. With a brigade of 6 chefs you will be catering for the award winning brasserie restaurant, the lounge bar and small function facilities. The menus are modern European and everything is prepared from fresh, seasonal produce, all locally sourced where possible. The successful Head Chef will have full autonomy in the kitchen designing the menus, sourcing suppliers and training and motivating the staff. With an ambitious management team they are always looking to develop the business further and will offer their full support. Due to this excellent reputation they have built up for fine food and premium drinks it is an extremely busy establishment so previous experience of cooking first class cuisine, in a high volume kitchen will be essential.
