Director, Restructuring | Corporate Finance About the Role: The European Corporate Finance and Restructuring Practice is a market leading restructuring practice based in London, Frankfurt, Madrid and Paris capable of delivering the most complex financial restructuring solutions to stakeholder groups. Our Corporate Finance team provides advice and support in respect of restructurings, valuation, M&A, transaction support and transaction tax to all of the major European banks, private equity houses, city law firms and many corporates. What You'll Do: Day-to-day project management of the engagement involving: o Assisting in the structuring of the engagement approach, scope and deliverables o Managing the team to address the scope within the required timeframe and budget o Communicating with the external stakeholders to keep them appraised of progress, initial observations and issues o Coaching and addressing the issues/problems faced by the junior team members o Forming initial views and opinions on the engagement to debate with either lead Managing Director or Senior Managing Director o Taking responsibility for producing and delivering the client a substantial element of the deliverable Take a lead role in business development activities, such as: o Organising client relationship building events o Contributing to thought leadership presentations and events o Preparation and participation in formal pitches o On the job coaching of our team o Preparation and participation in training activities o building and sharing personal relationship networks How You'll Grow: This is an excellent opportunity for a person with proven, hands-on experience to experience a rewarding and dynamic environment at Director level.
