About the Role The European Tax Advisory practice at FTI Consulting provides corporate tax advisory services to multi-national businesses ranging from tax transaction support to best practice process implementation and structuring. Our tax advisory services are expert led, client centric and focused on mitigating tax-risk and minimising cost. Our Senior Management Team are leaders in their fields, qualified in accounting, tax, law and surveying. The team also includes economists, valuation & technology experts. FTI has a leading specialist Life Science tax capability and the role sits primarily within this team with a potential part allocation to another tax team dependent on the candidate's experience. With a rapidly growing portfolio of over 50 recurring clients, the Life Sciences team is the largest specialist tax team serving this sector in the country with leading capabilities in this space. The team is heavily involved in tax policy engaging on a regular basis with Government departments and leads a successful cross firm platform with everybody making a contribution to these initiatives. What You'll Do The successful candidate will help manage a portfolio of clients advising on a range of areas including transactions, R&D and patent box incentives, international tax, transfer pricing, compliance and reporting. We are currently seeking Newly Qualified and Experienced tax advisors to join our successful and growing London-based tax team. How You'll Grow The role will allow the candidate to take early responsibility and management of a client portfolio in an environment where we aim to work closely with our clients. This will involve management of the compliance cycle and all related operational matters related to the account. The client base is also very rich in advisory work typically around transactions, international expansion and incentives (R&D and patent box). Embedded in our culture is an expectation where everybody can make a meaningful contribution whether this is around one or more of our client knowledge platform N-Site, our work in tax policy or a role with the wider tax team in areas such as marketing, technology or collaborating with our international network. LI-CF1 Qualifications & Experience: ACA, CTA or equivalent qualified Experience in corporate tax compliance, including tax reporting & either international or middle market advisory. Previous experience working within a large tax consultancy firm preferred. Experience with R&D tax credits preferred Ambitious and pro-active A good team player with a willingness to share knowledge and experience.
