Finance Manager: Immediate Response Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experience and well organized Finance Manager based in Birmingham. The role of the Finance Manager is to manage the daily accounting function whilst providing support to my client with all aspects of finance. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and take control of the finance department, ensuring Finance Manager: Roles and responsibilities: Reporting to the Board Management of daily cash flows; monitoring, forecasting and highlighting any issues Ensuring that risks are identified and taking appropriate action to mitigate the risk Posting cash out flows to accounts on a daily basis Managing the expenses processing and policy compliance Managing the monthly management reporting activity to meet the specified deadlines Working with Managers in the team to facilitate effective decision making Ensuring that the fixed asset register is maintained and depreciated in line with accounting policy Ensuring that the monthly control file is completed in line with specified deadlines Facilitate the yearly budget and quarterly forecasting process, including reporting and commentary providing support for the year-end audit Reviewing the audit logs from the system and addressing any areas of concern. To undertake any other reasonable duties as required by the Board and managers. To provide an outstanding customer service to my clients team Qualification and education requirements for Finance Manager AAT level 4 minimum Key attributes Good Excel skills - V lookups, pivot table Excellent attention to detail is key Understand the need for robust processes and controls Sound understanding of accounting principles Ability to drive continuous improvement Effective at business partnering To be considered for this role then please apply below
