Overview
Senior National Sales Manager required for a well-established packaging systems and solutions provider in the Stoke on Trent area. The successful candidate will be travelling around 30,000-40,000 miles nationally per year and be given an annual sales budget of around 2 and a half million. The successful candidate will have vast experience (10 years plus) within the packaging for food industry ideally within fish, meat, poultry, convenience, snacks, fruit, veg, etc. The role is home based. National Sales Manager Position Overview Developing and implementing commercial strategies to accelerate growth. Conducting market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities. Understanding the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met. Role modelling company values to enhance business and customer performance Developing additional gross profit streams Managing an existing portfolio of customers and identifying new customers within national markets to generate additional gross profit Responsibility of a sales order from procurement of raw materials and services through manufacture etc. right through to payment.
