Overview
Work as Lead Nurse within a complex needs service close to the Kings Heath area of Birmingham. You will be working as Lead Nurse / Unit Manager within a 30 bed service for adults with Neuro-disability, Brain injury & stroke, Enduring mental ill health and Early-onset dementia. This is a role suitable for an RGN, RMN or RNLD. As Lead Nurse, you will have a person-centred ethos and be committed to enriching the lives of the individuals in your care. You will be managing a 10 bedded nursing unit, duties will include; Working with the MDT to ensure that care provided is appropriate. Provide safe and effective processes for the ordering, handling, storage, administration, recording and disposal of drugs. Review and document care plans on a regular basis. Positively promote the home. Participate in supervision and training of new and existing staff. Complying with all legal and regulatory policies and procedures. Promoting choice, independence, dignity and respect. Adhering to the NMC Code and updating your professional knowledge. This is a full time, permanent position to work as Lead Nurse / Unit Manager, working 3 days one week and 4 the next with a salary of £17.50ph.
