An international medical communications agency has an opening for a Senior Medical Writer to join their award-winning team in central London. This is a client facing role which will see you work across a variety of scientific and creative communication projects, lead junior writers, and establish strong relationships with physicians and KOLs. With a broad offering that spans both medical education and marketing, this independent agency cover multiple therapy areas and work with big pharma on some of the most exciting healthcare products globally. Their collaborative team bring wide-ranging expertise and a consultative approach for their clients. As Senior Medical Writer, you’ll use your scientific knowledge and extensive editorial experience to deliver effective leadership of projects, take ownership for quality, and provide scientific council for clients. With the support and guidance of senior editorial team members, you’ll collaborate with internal teams across creative, digital, and client services, and enjoy a high level of autonomy in your work. Requirements · Strong scientific background (MSc/PhD advantageous) with a wealth of writing experience. · Proven track record in medical communications agency at MW/SMW level, managing the delivery of a variety of editorial projects. · Comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and associated regulations. · Experience mentoring and leading junior editorial team members. Strong communication and client facing skills.
