Corporate Commercial Lawyer 7 PQE Mayfair, London Up to £130,000 per year A well-established firm is looking to expand its Corporate Commercial team with the addition of a highly motivated senior Corporate Lawyer. Based in Mayfair, London, the role is offered on a full-time, permanent basis and pays up to £130,000 per year. Your New Role Joining a small but experienced corporate and commercial team which supports an active commercial/commercial property department, the Senior Lawyer will: Develop a presence for the firm in Mayfair to cater for its growing international client base; Advise clients on the full spectrum of corporate and commercial matters; and Deal with a general caseload of shareholder agreements, secured lending, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. About You The Corporate Lawyer will have at least 7 years PQE, excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to manage a large and varied caseload while working as part of a team. Candidates must be able to demonstrate client/department development and management skills. An established Head of Department or Senior Associate wishing to move for career progression will be actively considered for this role. Otherwise, applications to this Corporate Lawyer role should demonstrate: Very strong experience in general corporate work for HNWs and SMEs; Very strong client management and development skills; If they have a team who want to move with them we will consider that; Openness to some international travel; High levels of self-motivation; and Experience managing a team. Whilst we do not expect a following for this role the firm will require a demonstration of good contacts and connections. Experience of M&A in the healthcare sector is an advantage but not a prerequisite. Your New Firm The Corporate Lawyer will join a Legal 500 practice which deals with complex, quality work.
