Overview
TTRG are working with a housing association looking for a Governance and compliance manager. This role will be based in the North West but location can vary with an array of offices being available. This role is with a RP that is part of a larger group and has ambition to grow in the coming years. The key tasks of this role are: 1. Develop, manage and continuously improve the provision of board member services for the Governance and Legal Group structure. This includes: 2.Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with all lead directors in order to support their members in the most effective way. 3.Developing and managing the recruitment, appointment, appraisal and resignation processes for board members; 4.Creating and implementing a quality and accurate board member induction programme which supports their strategic and legal responsibilities as well as providing business orientation; 5.Co-ordinating requests for information and advice from board members, including liaising with external consultants if required; 6.Providing or procuring advice, training, toolkits and guidance for board members on their roles and responsibilities and the governance and legal structure of the group; 7.Providing technical advice on and managing the provision of administrative support for stage 3 complaint hearings.
