Supported Housing Officer - Income

Job Description
Regenda is now recruiting for a Supported Housing Officer - Income, to work with our Independent Living team in Liverpool. About the role The main purpose of this role is to maximise income and achieve performance targets around rent collection and arrears recovery, in a way that supports our customers to sustain their tenancies and take responsibility for managing and maintaining a clear rent account. The ideal candidate will possess experience of managing a range of housing related debt within a context of balancing the needs of the tenant and that of the organisation. You will be a determined individual and have a 'can do' attitude. You will also possess a firm and consistent approach which supports residents to maximise their income and to maximise the income for the Company. The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the welfare benefit system relating to the social housing sector, especially working with disabled and vulnerable customers. You will have fantastic communication skills both written and verbal, along with the ability to create positive working relationships with partners. You will also have a passion for coaching, developing and motivating teams and staff members to be the best version of themselves.
