JOB TITLE: International Logistics Operations Manager (Carrier Manager) LOCATION: London (Westminster) Salary : 43k - 46k DURATION: 6 month contract About the company An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading Fashion brand as an experienced International Logistics Manager . Responsible for all aspects of Carrier management required for the International movement of stock including management of the day to day operations with the existing International distribution facilities. You will also be driving a development agenda and continually review performance and recommend potential change. Accountabilitie Familiarise and keep abreast of International market to understand preferential relationships and organisations to work with and identifying new opportunities for improved service/efficiency to meet the changing needs of the business Developing relationships with Service Providers and act as a primary contact for all matters relating to operational performance Day to day management of all existing Service Provider relationships to ensure the effective movement of stock within required lead times and to agreed costs. Liaison with internal Business partners as required Creation and implementation of appropriate Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) within business policy Creates, maintains and shares inbound Lead time critical path to ensure the effective planning and movement of stock from origin to DC delivery. Constantly monitors performance and same adjusts where required. Supports procurement of appropriate Service Providers through constant benchmarking and evaluation of market and providers. Preparation of all materials and data to drive negotiation to award of contracts. Assist in the management and creation of Freight budgets through forecasting, reporting and adoption of robust controls and invoice validation against agreed rates. Experience & qualifications i.e. include relevant information and minimum years of experience typically required by the role 5 years experience within an International Logistics Operations role Strong experience with a carrier background in operations or carrier service management Experience within a large FMCG organisation DISCLAMER: If you have not heard from us with 48 hours please accept that unfortunately on this occasion you have been unsuccessful.
