Overview

The role of Infrastructure Service Delivery Manager is to provide infrastructure service and support to the daily running of my client’s global manufacturing organisation to ensure consistent and reliable supply of fresh consumer products. You will be responsible for maintaining the smooth technical running of the environment, ensuring all levels of IT support centrally and locally are aware of the technologies and technically enabled to support them. You will provide the line management of the Infrastructure Team, conducting 1-2-1’s, developing the team of 6 through coaching, opportunity creation and effective mentoring. Your core responsibility is to build and support the infrastructure underpinning the organisations Microsoft and Cisco IT infrastructure environment. You will be responsible for the end to end delivery of 3rd line to production sites and commissioning of new sites. You will have 6 direct reports initially and be responsible for sites globally (so international travel is a must as part of this role). KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS · Relevant Degree or Qualification is desirable. · ITIL & ISO27001 beneficial. · Infrastructure Service Delivery or equivalent experience. · Proven team management experience is essential. · Strong Technical Knowledge between application design, data, and infrastructure environment. · IT Infrastructure architecture and capability planning · Large-scale enterprise infrastructure system development and integration. · Server: AD/DHCP/DNS, file/print, database, web, messaging, infrastructure application, business applications, remote access, virtualized. · Storage: SAN ? Network: LAN/WAN/WIFI, VPN · Security: firewall, antivirus, IPS ? Servers (HP platform). · Infrastructure as a service, platform as a service · Server virtualization (VMware platform). · Business continuity and disaster recovery.
