Overview
NB this is a two year fixed term contract Harvey Nash is delighted to be working with our client, a well known brand, based in central Glasgow to appoint a new Senior Project Manager for an exciting transformation programme. Candidates will have extensive experience of delivering a wide range of Technology Programmes, in particular systems integration, software delivery and cloud hosting. Candidates will have experience working across a range of business stakeholders across all levels within an organisation. Candidates MUST meet the following criteria: Prince II/ or similar project accreditation and degree qualified Experience of delivering a portfolio of Technology programmes Some experience in Project Management within Public Sector Experience of cloud hosting platforms Ability to deliver in an "agile light" manner Experience of delivery management a new third party IT system (or releases of a third party system) with associated customisation Experience of integrating an IT system with a large number of existing IT applications using a variety of integration methods and approaches Experience of planning and executing the migration of data from an existing system into a new IT system with appropriate engagement of IT and business subject matter experts Experience of working with business and IT service management subject matter experts to ensure that both the business and IT support and operations are fully ready and prepared for new IT system releases Experience of planning, leading and executing the full software development lifecycle with a matrix team of architects, analysts, developers, testers and suppliers Please note that our client has specific requirements hence we are looking for candidates who meet the specific requirements outlined above.
