Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) Telford Up to £30,000 Overtime Opportunities 20 Days Holiday 8 Bank Holidays Pension Monday to Saturday (5 days out of 6) 46.25 hours per week Maintenance Engineer required for a family owned, expanding food producer going through a period of continuous investment, with future plans of continuous improvements to the business. The company offer a personable environment within a new and modern facility. The successfully Maintenance Engineer will be a Mechanical Engineer with experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing. Varying levels of experience will be considered including newly qualified apprentices. You can have experience in ANY manufacturing background and candidates with facility maintenance experience are also encouraged to apply. Must also be happy to work in an abattoir. Reporting into the Maintenance Manager you will spend most of your time during weekdays dealing with reactive maintenance working on hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors and carousels. On Saturday shifts all pre planned maintenance will be completed. You will also be involved with machinery upgrades and installation projects. The Maintenance Engineer Role: Mostly reactive maintenance. Working on hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, carousels, bearings and gearboxes. Occasional project work. The Successful Maintenance Engineer: Any level of maintenance experience from any manufacturing background, although Food or FMCG is advantageous.
