Maintenance Manager Newport, Shropshire Up to £50,000 DOE + Holidays + Bank Holidays Generous Pension Scheme + Life Assurance DAYS BASED POSITION Maintenance Manager required for a large manufacturer who have recently invested heavily on site. They boast a state of the art production facility and offer a varied role with a high level of responsibility for the successful individual. The role would suit Maintenance Managers or Engineering Managers who have experience of leading large teams of maintenance engineers across numerous shifts. You must have a proven track record of overseeing all maintenance activities on site. Applicants must transfer from a FMCG/production environment. Candidates who have experience within the food industry will have a considerable advantage. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your main responsibility will be to oversee the day to day engineering function and to deliver maintenance activities across a large food manufacturing site to a high standard. You will be accountable for asset care management, optimising machinery and productivity/efficiency on site. You will oversee, manage, motivate and train a large team of maintenance engineers. A big part of the role will be to liaise with the reliability manager, production manager, quality manager and project team to ensure that the site is performing at its optimum.
