Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading FMCG in their search for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Telford. Due to a potential retirement, the company is looking to add to there current team of Engineers, the company are looking for someone who has experience within the food manufacturing/food packaging industry. This role is Multi Skilled but is electrically biased (70% Electrical/30% Mechanical) For the successful Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer our client is offering: * Starting salary of £34,292 per annum * Rotating 12-hour shift pattern (days & nights) * Permanent position * Free parking * Company pension plan * 20 days holiday bank holidays The role - Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: * Fault finding * Deal with the day-to-day breakdowns and changeovers. * Be involved in getting to the root cause of the problem and find ways to prevent the problems from happening again. * PLC programming and fault diagnosis * Root cause all faults, plan and implement changes * Deliver electrical and mechanical changes * Monitor machine performance and provide reactive support for breakdowns * Replace parts removed from machines and complete the correct documentation * Ensure that communication is effectively maintained with the Section Leader/Shift Manager/Senior Engineer What our client is looking for in a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer: * Experience within the food or processing industry essential * Multi-skilled position, 70% Electrical, 30% Mechanical * Prepared to learn new techniques & technology. * Experience with Siemens S7 PLC's - Highly advantageous * City & Guilds Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or BTEC National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering * 17th or 18th edition is preferred Key skills or similar Job titles: Shift Engineer, Factory Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Electrically Biased, Electrical Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Maintenance, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance Commutable From: Telford/Shrewsbury/Wolverhampton/Bridgnorth/Market Drayton/Newport/Cannock For further information about this and other positions please apply now.
