Overview

Senior Science and Technology Underwriter Up to £70,000 Depending on Experience Birmingham (Ref: JO0102) As the senior PI and Casualty underwriter within an experienced team, this role offers progression and growth. You’ll have regional authority to grow the Tech led proposition, showing your expertise in this fast growing sector. You will be joining one of the world’s leading commercial insurers in a role fully supported by a Technology sector team Primarily new business led, you will be working closely with the Business Development team in the engagement of an impressive broker panel to primarily write new business for the branch. The Business One of the markets leading insurers, a genuine international brand with an outstanding reputation in the commercial space which has a drive to grow in niche and specialist sectors The Role A Senior Technology underwriter in a thriving team, who are expanding their UK presence in this sector You will be specialising in PI and Products exposures for the technology sector You An experience, yet ambitious Financial Lines and Casualty underwriter, seeking wider responsibilities and challenges. Strong technical background, with a drive to write new business with an established broker panel Whilst experience of Technology PI/Products is preferred, experience in PI for I.T and/or Life Science and Medical Tech would be considered. Experience of underwriting such accounts up to £50k and beyond
