Senior DevOps Engineer, Epsom, £70,000 - Platform Automation A global digital transformation specialist is currently looking to add an experienced DevOps engineer to its ranks. The organisation themselves have built a multi-award winning reputation for enhancing the quality, responsiveness and performance of their customers software applications through their digital automation intelligence suite. The successful applicant will work closely with the Developers and QA Engineers to deliver robust and reliable software deployments. Whilst they're welcoming of people from varying degrees of discipline - the likely-hood is that you will come from a strong systems and network administration background. Furthermore they expect a significant level of of automation to support large server infrastructures both on premise and in the cloud. In addition to being self-motivated and a keen team player it'd be great if you had experience in the following; Fluent proficiency in either Bash, Perl, PHP or Python Working knowledge of automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Puppet of Chef) Linux system administration Experience with Amazon Web Services The role is a dream position for any true "techie" You will be working alongside large teams who pride themselves on being best in class. The role itself is predominantly office based (easy links from South West London and the M25) with large free parking on-site. It is also a stones throw from the local train station. Remote options are available on an infrequent (once a week typically) basis. £65,000-£70,000 is the sought salary bracket although i would encourage anyone who operates within 10% of that to still declare their interest.
