Financial Controller, Leeds, Up to £90,000 per annum Good benefits, ASAP Start, Fast Growing Technology led organisation. Overview of the Financial Controller: Reporting to the CFO the Financial Controller is required to provide the business with accurate and timely financial information and the maintenance of accounting records. This fast growing technology company is a real one to watch so its a positive time to come aboard as the company has seen immense growth plus the new CFO has a proven and successful track record of helping develop businesses to the very next level. This includes: - All aspects of financial control and reporting, ensuring that there is one version of the truth. This involves the production of month end consolidated reporting packs for the board, monitoring of performance against business KPIs, statutory reporting as well as responding to ad-hoc requirements - Development and implementation of financial policies and procedures, such as the approved delegation of authority, revenue recognition, cash management, payroll etc. - Working with the business, review and development of core processes and procedures, particularly the quote to cash and procurement to pay end-to-end processes - Continued development of systems across the business, with primary responsibility for the finance and associated reporting systems - Responsible for all aspects of budgeting and forecasting for the business, working with and challenging stakeholders to ensure that these are accurate and timely, including their monitoring, assessment and reporting against actual performance - Management and compliance with all statutory reporting, including tax, requirements across the business and working with appropriate advisers. As well as making the appropriate filings, this will involve tax planning, such as the development and implementation and of a transfer pricing policy and application for UK R&D tax credits - Day-to-day management of banking relationships and cash flow for the business, including the maintenance of short term cash forecasts - Management and development of the finance team in the UK and US Ideal Experience: - Technically proficient qualified accountant, preferably ACA qualified - Strong interpersonal skills and used to working with people at all levels, both internal and external - Ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken form - Strong analytical skills - Proficient user of excel and financial and reporting systems - Experience with team, process and system development and transition - Ability to plan and manage resources against clearly understood business priorities - Excellent management skills
