Overview

Subsidiary of a major international business seeking a Senior Financial Accountant Your new company A growing international manufacturing business focused on sustainable growth and delivering record results. Your new role Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for: Assisting the Finance Manager in the day to day running of the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely month end closing. Posting accruals and prepayments Balance sheet reconciliations Maintaining fixed asset register Producing final statutory accounts and assisting with audit enquiries Prepare and submit company tax returns including tax computations, calculation of QIP's, VAT returns etc and managing response to tax audit enquiries. Assist with the companies internal control system. Supporting the day to day running of the finance team and month end close What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will have a strong background in month end closing procedures and financial accounting, awareness of UK taxes act, knowledge of the tax aspects of UK GAAP and IFRS. You will be a qualified accountant ACCA, CIMA, ACA. You will have a good understanding of excel.
