Overview
Are you looking for something beyond a traditional Financial Controller role? Imagine moving into a newly created position, allowing you to build the job from scratch and help shape the future direction of the business. You'll work part-time, allowing a bit of freedom and time to yourself. Ideally, you'll want to work 3 full days or perhaps split the hours over 4 days if that suits. You'll work closely with the Chief Executive on commercial activities, exploring new revenue streams and sharing your ability to interpret numbers to shape their decision making. You'll work in a highly visible role, sharing your findings across the business. The business is well established and has recently won several government contracts, providing security and stability for the future. The plan is to build on these contracts, using your commercial and analytical skills to help grow the business. Of course, you'll keep your hand in with some of the normal accounts work too, overseeing the day to day running of the accounts function. You'll be a qualified accountant, with the confidence and credibility to operate at board level. There is support via a local accounting practice too.
