Relationship Director - Commercial Banking My client is a new start-up Challenger Bank, it is an exciting time for the business as it scales up. This is a fantasic opportunity to join a growing business with an established and successful management team in the early stages and to be able to help launch a new brand into the marketplace whilst putting your own stamp on things. The focus of the Relationship Director role is to promote the company’s lending products to key introducer's within the market across the North West and to work with prospective SME clients. We are looking for someone with Commercial Banking experience, in particular within secured property lending. The role is suitable for a self-starter who is highly motivated, enjoys working in a target driven environment and has experience in lending into the commercial and corporate market. The role is home based with full administrative, credit and marketing support provided by a dedicated team. Responsibilities of the Relationship Director: Origination and execution of deals to create a strong pipeline of deal flow - both general banking and property loans Building brand awareness and developing new and existing relationships with Brokers and other Introducers Researching new deals or enquiries to assess the suitability of the security Ability to be involved in every aspect of the lifecycle of the deal - structuring and executing The ability to create your own 'Franchise' across the local area. Requirements of the Relationship Director: Previous experience within Commercial or Corporate Banking, ideally with strong exposure to secured property lending Established and proven network of introducers across the North West Strong relationship management skills Understanding of credit although will be supported by dedicated credit RM Ability to drive Why should you apply?
