Overview

Technical Business Systems Analyst – Data/SQL This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Business Systems Analyst to join a market leading organization based in Leeds City Centre. As the Technical Business Systems Analyst you will be responsible for gathering requirements, producing specifications and working closely with other member of the development team both on-site and internationally. There is a big focus with this position on Data so there will be a lot of work involving data extractions using SQL, integrations, defining data and looking at business processes. There is a big programme of work in the pipeline with rewriting a large legacy system which involves staff all over the world so there’s a lot you can get involved with As the Technical Business Systems Analyst you will have at least 3 years’ experience in a Business Systems Analyst capacity and have been heavily involved with work involving data. You will have experience of analyzing requirements, working closely with developers, testers and other BA’s and have experience working with specifications in both Agile and Waterfall environments. You will also possess a strong working knowledge of data including SQL, data extraction (ideally ETL), data integrations and defining data. Any experience of business change/process improvement is also highly desirable.
