A leading provider of IT services & solutions are looking for a IT Support Engineer to join our client sites. Desktop Support Engineer (CE) Location: Reading Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour (UMB) Contract duration: Adhoc/contract work (this can be from 1-day roles up to 10 days) Are you looking for immediate contracting work that will allow you to develop your IT engineering skills with an organisation that values you? We currently have a fantastic opportunity for experienced IT engineers in the midlands area, working for a large IT service provider. The ideal candidate will have: Previous deployment and rollout experience Experience supporting Apple devices Experience with hardware break fixes Windows XP, 7 and 10 Desktop Installation Various deployment tools - IT hardware and software Experience of preparing machines for migration and configuration Microsoft server experience Good Time management skills Attention to detail Fast paced and proactive nature Customer service We're looking for someone that can be flexible to work at customer sites when required. Coming from a background such as face to face desk-side support or IT field service engineering, applicants must be able to work flexibly and efficiently whilst having a strong background in various IT systems, hardware, deployments, rollouts and configuration along with a drive and passion to succeed.
