The client is one of the most reputable Wealth Managers in the market and is renowned for their technology investment, career development and working culture. The Application Support Engineer will: · Be responsible for providing first class BAU support · Work closely with a range of front office and back office applications · Provide application support to a large environment of professional associates · Work on a range of both in-house developed applications as well as 3 rd party applications The Application Support Engineer will have experience with: · Windows Server 2008/12/16 · Centos/RedHat/Linux · SQL Server 08/12/14 · Scripting experience – PowerShell/Bash/Perl · FIX Messaging · Knowledge of Financial data/systems or data warehousing The Application Support Engineer will be: · Able to adapt to new and changing technologies · An excellent manager of time and personal organisation · Able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively and efficiently both as part of a team and individually · Able to demonstrate attention to detail whilst hitting critical deadlines The client seeks an Application Support Analyst that can bring new ideas and research new technology that will improve the trading applications across the business.
