Prospectus is excited to be supporting Plan International UK in their search for a part time (21 hours per week), Philanthropic Partnerships Team Leader. Plan International UK is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children's rights and equality for girls. This is a fantastic job share opportunity for an experienced and passionate fundraiser to join the team. The Philanthropic Partnerships Team is responsible for all trust and foundation and major donor (HNWI) relationships, managing grants between £10k - £1m. In the last ten years, they have made a step-change in their relationships with trusts and major donors, growing from £660k of income in 2005 to £5m in 2019. As Philanthropic Partnerships Manager, you will build on the team's successes, promoting partnerships and long-term donor collaboration to make an impact for the world's poorest children.With your job share partner, you will lead the team responsible for all gifts of £5k or above from individuals, trusts and foundations. You will maximise contributions from high net worth individuals and charitable trusts, delivering first class account management and driving the cultivation of new relationships.You will have the proven ability to influence and negotiate at the highest level, having independently delivered 6-figure gifts. Strong communication and collaborative working skills are second nature to you and you will have demonstrable experience of managing, motivating and inspiring a team to achieve stretching targets. Ideally, you will have some knowledge of international development but it is more important that you understand the organisation's mission and goals and are in tune with their values.
