Overview
Our client is a leading provider of international education based in Brighton. Description The Associate Director Brand & Communications will develop and implement a global brand and external communications strategy, positioning the organisation as a leader in international education, differentiate against competitors, enable effective and impactful communication with all stakeholder groups, resulting in increased brand awareness and growth across all audiences, partners and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Develop and execute the external communications strategy, working closely with colleagues with responsibilities for internal and digital communications, to build the reputation and positively position the group in international markets and with key audiences. Includes managing internal spokespeople and crisis communications management. Develop and execute a brand strategy, to include brand positioning, architecture, and identity management, to strengthen brand loyalty, engagement and advocacy, both externally and internally. Analyse current data and insight as well as conduct specific insight led projects to help understand trends to fine tune brand and communications strategy. Develop and execute the PR & media engagement strategy, working with media agencies to develop press releases and corporate communications content, utilising all relevant online and offline channels, to drive credibility, trust and engagement across our audiences. Provide support to senior leadership team on matters of relevance to any external corporate communications. Manage media and PR agencies globally. Guide brand and messaging quality across all channels and touchpoints. Profile Strong experience in strategic brand management across multiple international markets - experience within an education context is an advantage. Strong experience in creating effective communications and media strategies, utilising multiple channels A proven track record in leading, developing and delivering brand and communication initiatives with a strong results focus. Experience of working in a multi-channel and matrix organisation Commercially astute but able to balance this against the requirement for academic excellence.
