Overview
Stress Engineer Samlesbury 12 Months £40 Per Hour (UMB - Inside) Advantage Resourcing are currently looking for a Stress Engineer to work with our prestigious client at their facility based in Samlesbury. The successful candidate will be joining a leading global defence organisation, where as a Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking durability and damage tolerance analysis on the aft fuselage structures of bespoke fast-jet aircraft. Your responsibilities: undertake durability and damage tolerance analysis on Fast Jet fuselage structure Resolution of technical issues ensuring product safety and engineering integrity is not compromised. Review and check work undertaken by other engineers and engage with stakeholders. Completion of static analysis for metallic and composite structure Completion of durability and damage tolerance analysis Your Profile: We are looking for candidates who hold a relevant engineering qualification to HNC/HND level or above. Candidates with experience of durability and damage tolerance analysis of aircraft metallic structure are preferred. A working knowledge of Nastran/Patran FEM analysis toolsets and word/data processing toolsets (ie MS Word and Excel) is required. Experience of managing tasks to meet design review criteria and programme schedules preferable.
