Overview

We are looking for a sewing machine whizz to join our client in Gravesend, making repairs and alternations to their lines, such as hems, zips, buttons, holes etc. These repairs will have come from garments that have been returned or new stock that has arrived and slipped through the quality control process. You will be proficient in using a sewing machine, however, you do not need to be able to sew to a pattern as this will not be necessary. The other part of your role is to steam the garments and hang them ready to be picked and packed for clients. This is a part time role, 21 hours a week, working 9am-5pm. The role could start off as a temp to perm placement, however, there is the option that you may start as a permanent member of staff straight away.
