Overview
Gleeson Recruitment Group are currently partnering with a business based in Coventry. Our client are looking for a qualified (would also consider finalist) accountant CIMA / ACCA or ACA to join them as a Senior Management Accountant. During these uncertain times its good to know this business is very well protected from any down turns in the market. They are an essential business in the economy who are always looking for development and growth with their employees. The Senior Management Accountant will work as part of the central finance function and be a key member of the senior management team. The job will focus on analysing the management accounts packs from divisions withing the business and using the information to provide strategic advice and guidance to the board. Lets be clear, this role is not for some one that wants to "do" management accounts, yes its likely you Will have done that role previously but this position is all geared around high level commercial focus. You will need to have a strong analytical mindset and have the ability to business partner to many functions outside of finance.
