Overview
Brand new opening for an experienced Credit Controller who has strong analytical, reconciliation and investigation experience. This is an exciting opportunity where your role will be to solely focus on large volumes of outstanding disputes and debt chasing. This role will be dealing with high profile clients so will need to be managed with excellent customer service and high attention to detail and need someone who is highly motivated that can manage a large work load and manage feedback and escalations. Strong credit and cash background required. Fixed term contract role for 6 months – city centre Glasgow. Immediate start required. Job Description: Support role, working across the business with partners, client relations and finance to resolve disputes Responsible for the chasing and collection of payments relating to unpaid bills Ensuring that collections activity is maintained and regularly updated Holding regular calls with partners and business managers to discuss/escalate debt issues. Attend one to one and credit control team meetings to discuss outstanding issues and collection performance Liaise with clients on a daily basis to resolve queries by telephone and in writing Liaise with the billing and cashier teams regarding credit notes, re-issued invoices and cash allocations Highlight accounts with a bad debt risk to Credit Control Manager. Experienced Required: 1-2 years’ experience in a credit control commercial environment with high turnover Strong excel skills in data compilation & reconciliation desirable Being a self-motivator is essential Demonstrate strong organisational & time management skills If you are interested in this vacancy please contact Laura Buchanan in our Glasgow office.
