Overview
We are looking for an employment law solicitor with 4 PQE to join our client’s established and successful employment team. The successful candidate will undertake both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, as well as engaging in business development activity to promote the firm's practice in Birmingham. Skills required: Excellent written English and presentation skills Self-starting with common sense and initiative Excellent interpersonal and team skills, including ability to work with others, influence and persuade Very good time and documentation management skills Keen attention to detail Ability to lead on Employment Tribunal matters and run matters with minimal supervision Ability to supervise and assist junior lawyers Very good research skills, including an ability to use online information sources Keen interest in developing client training skills Previous experience of advising the NHS and other health sector clients, knowledge of relevant policies, procedures and issues within the health sector and advocacy experience is also welcome.
