Location: Glasgow, covering SGN locations across west of Scotland Salary: Circa £40,000 - £43,000 plus company car/car allowance Reference: REQ728 We are looking for a Senior HR Manager with extensive experience in a similar, fast-paced industry. This opening is a wonderful opportunity to join our HR Function, covering our depots in the West of Scotland, predominately working with the Operational Management Team. THE ROLE Our Operational workforce is made up of mostly industrial staff. You will be spending much of your time at SGN’s various depots and offices, assisting managers with a broad range of HR issues (including change management, absence management, and disciplinary, capability, and grievance issues). Our HR Managers… Actively support and promote the efficient operation of SGN’s business activities. Ensuring compliance with employment agreements, policies, procedures and the law. Build on existing operational management capability. Play an active part in our company’s aim of developing and engaging staff at all levels within the organisation. WHAT YOU’LL BRING To be a successful HR Manager, you will be confident in resolving potential conflict/employee relations issues. We’re looking for someone with proven experience (ideally in a similar industry) as well as initiative and a flexible approach to work. You will also bring:- Extensive case management experience. Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills. Valid UK driving license (this role will involve travel). Requirement to be CIPD qualified. Not a perfect skills match?
