Senior RF And Analogue Design Engineer
Overview
Summary Senior RF and Analogue Design Engineer provides; design, analysis and support for electronics product design within the Global Sensors business unit. Working primarily on the development of the next generation of Raytheon’s GPS anti-jam products the successful candidate will also be responsible for and supporting the ongoing development and production of our product portfolio. Required Skills: . In depth experience in design and layout of RF and analogue micro circuitry and micro integration into products for harsh environments and hostile EM conditions . Design experience of down conversion techniques and processing methods . Design experience of power conversion systems . Design experience in 1GHz (L Band) Receivers and Transmitters with the ability to develop top level requirements for flow down to development teams . Good knowledge of product design and problem solving within a product design environment. . Good team player who is willing to take ownership of problems and actively engages in IPT and group activities. . Ability to lead development projects across other disciplines such as mechanical and digital engineering Desired Skills: . Understanding of RF EW measures and counter measures . Experience of interpretation of customer specs and end use environments . Familiarity with Microwave simulators, PCB layout and Mechanical modeling tools . Experience in design for manufacture . Analytical engineer who can process data efficiently to provide solutions to problems and communicate the outcomes at all levels . Understanding of programme measures and metrics such as Earned Value . Ability to technically manage sub contractors Required Education: . Minimum of Degree in related subject, preferably in Electrical/Electronic Engineering. . Proven experience in a product design and development role, within an Electronics Product Environment.
