Job Description
Summary of Role: The successful candidate shall have significant commercial management experience with highly effective team management skills that allow for an inclusive and diverse environment to maximise the team's success. The ability to think both tactically and strategically in conjunction with a can-do attitude are of critical importance to this role. The main duties of the role include; + personnel management and leadership of the Cyber and Intelligence commercial team, consisting of resources spread across 3 UK sites with flexible working from arrangements + participation in strategy development for short, mid and long term business goals + the creation of contract and teaming management strategies + tactical thinking to address a multitude of commercial programme issues that arise from day to day programme activities + creation, review and negotiation of complex and bespoke agreements, including teaming agreements + both cross functional communication and upwards briefing into the relevant US business areas + being part of multiple bid teams on low, medium and high value contracts, providing bid and proposal governance and input + revenue increasing actions through both risk mitigation and customer negotiations + financial management, specifically that around cash forecasting and collection + dispute resolution + responsibility for cash forecasting and receipt management across the entirety the Cyber and Intelligence business pillar + influencing internal and external stakeholders + problem solving and dispute resolution + customer relationship management including working in an ISO 44001 (previously BS 11000) environment In order to be successful in this role the individual must display behaviours that include; + a positive attitude + a self-starting initiative + constantly upholding high ethics and integrity values + a strong diversity and inclusion mind-set + building trust with other team members and internal and external stakeholders + inspiring others to the point that others are motivated in following you + making decisions with confidence + encouraging innovation by looking at what is possible whilst asking the right questions and observing. + Appreciate others by rewarding achievement The individual shall have experience of the below: + Previous strong experience in a senior commercial or contracts role. + Working in collaborative environments dealing with complex issues + Negotiating and management of medium (25m) and high (100m+) value contracts + Dealing with Customers from different global locations and cultures including the UK Ministry of Defence + Drafting and negotiating multiple different types of agreement + Leading teams of individuals who have different skill sets + Working in teams with flexible working arrangements + Contract life cycle management + Dispute resolution + Change management 162987BR 162987
