Overview
IT Project Risk Manager required for a high profile Government Department. London based. 6 month contract. PLEASE NOTE - ONLY APPLICANTS WITH CURRENT AND ACTIVE SC OR DV CLEARANCE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE. Your new company A high profile Government Ministerial Department, located in Central London has embarked on a business-critical technology upgrade and is seeking an experienced IT Risk Manager, to join a large ERP implementation programme. Your new role Joining a large scale and complex program, your role is to ensure technology risk is proactively and effectively managed on this multi million pound programme. In a Risk Management context, you will play a key role in creating the technical foundation of a business operating model that is future fit. As the Technology Risk Manager, you will utilise your significant relevant experience, to identify and mitigate unique risks to the programme. This role will play a key role in the programme, where you will be accountable for the strengthening, embedding and ongoing improvement of the risk and control environment across the programme. You will also assist with the execution of strategic initiatives within programme to improve team effectiveness and performance, participate in capability uplift activity and contribute to a strong and proactive risk culture. You will act as a trusted advisor to various stakeholders, inside and outside the programme, regarding strategic planning, emerging risks and risk maturity and play a key role in ensuring risk behaviours, processes and ongoing management and prevention become part of the ways of working across the programme. What you'll need to succeed It is essential that you have an extensive background in developing, technology risk strategy and management and driving a risk and control culture across the programme. Exceptional stakeholder management experience is required, to work with various value-chain associates, to ensure end to end oversight of the risk and control environment. You will also have an advanced understanding and knowledge of the risk and control environment and framework with proven experience in managing operational and compliance technology risks.
