Overview
Financial Controller - Part Time Sheffield £50,000 to £60,000 pro rata plus benefits My client is a thriving, dynamic business operating in the services sector in Sheffield. Due to business growth, and continued success, an experienced individual is required to provide strong commercial and financial oversight for the business. This is a young agile organisation and this role would be ideal for someone looking to work part time in a broad and highly commercial focused role reporting directly to the Managing Director. The role will grow as the organisation grows, currently there is a need for someone who can be hands on but also can operate at a more strategic level liaising with external bodies and implementing new processes and procedures. It is likely initially to be a two day a week role. Working in a small team you will be responsible for : Preparation of monthly management accounts and presentation to the Senior Management team Dealing with transactional finance duties including input of invoices, bank reconciliations and credit control and any ad hoc duties Preparation of annual account for audit, presentation of monthly accounts at the Board meeting Preparation of budgets, financial reports as well as analysis of KPI's Projects to include risk management, compliance and IT Liaison with external bodies including the auditors and banks The Person You are likely to be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA/ CGMA) with an established track record of achievement in your career to date Knowledge and / or experience of working within a professional services environment would be ideal but by no means essential You will be energetic, enthusiastic and looking to join a highly commercial business in a period of growth It is envisaged this role will be part time for around two days per week.
