Our client is looking for a strong accountant, you dont need to be Big Four trained. you Simply need to have a range of financial reporting experience within a complex environmnet. Not forgetting a personalilty and passion as this business craves those attributes more than others Role detail: This job will report to the Financial Controller and offers scope to develop your skills in a very friendly organisation and reporting into qualified finance professionals Preparation of Group financial statements that form a significant part of the annual and interim reports Preparation of the Group financial statements Preparation of the statutory accounts for all subsidiaries and joint ventures under FRS101 Assist in the annual audit and other projects Preparing and reviewing audit schedules Production of monthly reports and schedules to meet group requirements and deadlines Ensuring accurate representation of accounts data through completion of reconciliations and maintenance of data quality Review of balance sheet reconciliations, escalating risks and issues Preparation of Group VAT returns The ideal candidate for this role will be: ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified Excellent communication skills - a proven ability to converse with peers and senior leaders Sound understanding of financial reporting - up to date with current reporting standards Self-motivated and proactive Ability to work positively within a change environment and possess change leadership qualities.
