This firm's corporate start up and tech team has grown quickly and successfully to operate as a standalone department with the firm, with lawyers in the team regarded as pre-eminent advisors to entrepreneurs, start-up tech business and their investors. The firm is looking to continue building upon its growing reputation in the London market and is keen to hire mid-level and senior associates with an entrepreneurial mind-set as well as experience of working with entrepreneurial businesses along with a track record of running early stage seed and venture capital fundraisings and related matters. Ideally you will be ambitious about building your own stable of growing businesses in the technology space and having responsibility for client work and relationships and a more senior lawyer you will have strong delegating skills and enjoy supervising and developing junior members of the team, taking high levels of responsibility and leading transactions with the team partners. The pipeline of work is superb and will offer plenty of opportunity for a senior lawyer coming into the team to pick up hot clients and run with the work. As well as growth and emerging technology businesses, the team also acts for venture capitalists, angel investors and syndicates, and institutional investors, including investment funds specialising in seed capital, venture capital and growth equity.
