Sellick Partnership are delighted to be recruiting for a Contracts Lawyer to join a large West London Borough Council on a locum basis. The contract is initially for a period of 3 months, with the view to go onto an ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Contracts Lawyer to take on an interesting and varied role. Duties will include drafting, amending and negotiating a wide range of contracts, such as shared service agreements, data sharing and frameworks. The Contracts Lawyer will also be working on major projects on behalf of the local authority and will handle procurement matters. Experience of contracts and procurement is essential for this role. Our client has expressed that their ideal candidate would have experience of working within a local authority, but will consider those from other backgrounds who have strong and transferable skills. The council offices are easily accessible by public transport and they offer flexible working arrangements, such as 1 day working from home.
