Overview
Corporate Commercial Solicitor with 2-4 years’ PQE sought for Legal 200 and 500 practice in Greater London. This is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated Corporate Commercial Solicitor to join our client’s Lexcel accredited firm in Uxbridge. Working together with partners, the successful candidate will work to increase the volume of instructions on both the corporate side of the practice and in relation to commercial, IP and IT work. Responsibilities • Supporting partners with complex corporate and commercial matters • Supervising junior staff • Mergers and acquisitions • Corporate finance • Corporate advisory • Private equity • Joint ventures • Reorganisations • Secured and unsecured lending • Insolvency and reconstruction • Terms and conditions • GDPR matters • Supply and franchise agreements • Providing support to other teams on larger cross-disciplinary projects • Billing • Business development The Candidate • Solicitors with 2-4 years’ PQE • Degree educated 2:1 or above • Strong LPC pass • Strong corporate experience with evidence of working on complex transactions and experience of working with larger clients • Ability to manage corporate transactions, subject to partner’s supervision • Experience of managing and supervising junior staff • Comfortable in drafting and undertaking advisory work for medium to large scale organisations • Good communication skills • Business development skills and experience • IT literate (self–sufficient in using document management systems, MS Office and Internet) The Firm Our client is a traditional firm with a modern approach which provides a comprehensive range of top-tier services to both national and international individuals and businesses.
