Job Description
Job title - Trainee Solicitor Location - London Salary - Competitive Advert post date - 3 June 2020 Advert closing date - 1 July 2020 CMS are looking to hire a Trainee Solicitor. About the role As a trainee solicitor you will learn to find solutions by investigating factual and legal issues, analysing problems and communicating the results of your research. You will also become familiar with all aspects of the role of a lawyer, completing both contentious and non-contentious work. You will gain a full understanding of the skills and practice of resolving disputes through management of files, drafting of internal notes, memos and letters. We are seeking a trainee with an international outlook and previous experience studying and working in another jurisdiction, to assist with cross-jurisdictional transactions as and when required. About you The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree, have completed study and relevant work experience, and be eligible for admission in England and Wales. They will have a strong work history, proven research and communication skills, and an awareness of commercial considerations, particularly in the context of international business transactions.
