Overview
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an infrastructure support engineer who wishes to advance their core cloud, server and networking skills whilst gaining experience of working in a fast paced and rapidly changing IT environment. It is ideally suited to an ambitious IT professional keen to invest in new skills for their future career. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter. Duties: Cloud and infrastructure support and management Some technical project implementation Proactively improving customer networks and management system Troubleshooting issues escalated from the service desk Rotation on a 24/7 on call schedule Delivering exceptional levels of customer satisfaction 70% of time based at our Guildford office 30% onsite at a prestigious client in central London (Blackfriars) Experience: Working in a 2nd line or higher IT support role with a strong infrastructure focus Managing, troubleshooting and deploying (essential): - Active Directory & Windows Server - Azure Active Directory - Hyper-V - Exchange Server - Office 365 Exchange Online - Office 365 SharePoint Online - Remote Desktop Services - Windows 10 desktop Managing, troubleshooting and deploying (advantageous): - Datto backup and recovery services - Datto networking - Mimecast email security - StorageCraft backup and recovery services - Sophos Endpoint and Server security - WatchGuard Firewalls Autotask or Connectwise Service Management Remote monitoring and management (RMM) systems Working at an IT Managed Service Provider Working with a change management process Knowledge skills and qualities: Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn A team player who enjoys working with and supporting colleagues Exceptional customer service and communication skills Full driving license and own transport If you have not been contacted within 5 working days, then unfortunately on this occasion your CV has not been shortlisted.
