JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: Head of Product Management DEPARTMENT: Service Transformation Team Akton Recruitment are seeking to employ a Head of Product for a client in Chelmsford. JOB PURPOSE The Service Transformation team is a new multi-disciplinary team with the Client which is committed to helping better services for their users. The purpose of the role as the Head of Product Management and will be helping shape the profession and provide support to all product managers in the organisation. You will be expected to be an experienced and confident leader who has expert product management skills. REQUIREMENTS: - An ability to mediate and improve relationships, communicating clearly and simply with stakeholders at all levels. - Able to manage stakeholder’s expectations and facilitate discussions across high risk and complexity or under constrained timescales. - Able to speak and represent the product management community and Service Transformation team to large audience both internally and externally. - An ability to coach and lead teams in Agile and Lean practices. - Work proactively in partnership with other divisions.
