Overview
Engine Rebuild Technician - Central Belt & Northern England Renew Consultancy are working with a reputable Engineering business, with a new opening for an Engine Rebuild Technician to cover sites across the Central Belt of Scotland & Northern England. Working in a competent and effective team, the Engine Rebuild Technician will be responsible for performing large engine overhauls, head removal, de-cokes, rebuild, replacement of crank and camshafts, as well as installing and refitting components. The successful Engine Rebuild Technician will possess mechanical engineering skills, with prior experience performing overhaul, rebuild, maintenance or service tasks on large industrial diesel, gas or marine engines. The Engine Rebuild Technician Package: £25,000 - £40,000 DOE Additional Overtime Payments Company Vehicle Generous Company Contributory Pension Generous Holiday Allowance Health Care Scheme Career Development Opportunities Childcare Vouchers PPE Laptop Phone Ideally, the Engine Rebuild Technician will be qualified at Apprenticeship, City and Guilds level or above in a mechanical Engineering discipline. This is a mechanically biased position, requiring an enthusiastic and hard working Technician, who is willing to work away from home for several nights during the week and travel long distances when required.
