You’ll be joining our bright team in central London, working in one of our fastest-growing markets. What you will do: To manage and coordinate the weekly payroll from start to finish to ensure the accurate and timely processing of weekly wage payments for temporary workers; To collect timesheets data by emailing timesheets to clients. To input all the necessary information onto the payroll database; Payroll Validation and resolving any errors or discrepancies; Liaising with HMRC to update P6 & Student Loan Notices; Calculate SSP, SPP and SMP payments; Calculate attachment of earnings payments; To manage client information including generating/sending invoices; To manage client invoice queries; To quickly and efficiently deal with candidate enquiries by answering questions and requests and ensuring that these are escalated when required; To be the payroll subject matter expert and the main point of contact for legislative changes and/or procedural changes to the way we process our weekly payroll; To ensure any payroll projects or process improvements are implemented fully and all associated processes adapted to support the change; To manage temporary workers’ holiday accrual and end of contract payments; To coordinate the payroll administration: pulling new starters, checking candidate details, handling and posting out all mail; Processing all pension data weekly To maintain payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures; To maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies; To ensure that all data and information is keep confidential and secure and that Data Protection rules are adhered to; To identify potential and actual issues and take appropriate action to mitigate future risks or issues; To represent and uphold company’s principles when engaging with clients, candidates and colleagues; Requirements and skills: Proven experience as Payroll Coordinator or similar role Familiarity with payroll processes from start to finish Good knowledge of legislation relevant to accounting and payroll Working knowledge of payroll systems Comfortable with Excel Familiarity with NEST and The People’s Pension An analytical mind with good math skills Excellent attention to detail Excellent written and spoken English What we offer: The chance to make an impact in one of the fastest-growing startups in Europe, you’ll find there is always room for new ideas A global team formed by dynamic, highly skilled and ambitious people A competitive salary variable compensation
