Business Analyst Birmingham to £60k Business Analyst (SDLC Software Testing). Key partner to the energy sector is seeking a process-driven Business Analyst to take a lead role in the end-to-end delivery of critical projects, head up teams of talented individuals whilst enjoying a fantastic work life balance and benefits. As a Business Analyst, you will be the glue that holds teams together, the traction you provide will directly support the Systems Development team in the development, implementation and management of respective processes across the SDLC. You’ll empower teams across cross-disciplinary projects that encapsulate hardware, software and data science, managing activities and encouraging the adoption of best practice. In this Business Analyst role you’ll also have the opportunity to engage with external clients to identify needs, gather requirements, support solution definition and ensure development is meeting required standards. You’ll get directly involved in the growing Solution Delivery capability of the Digital team, gaining critical oversight of the agreed Business Plan and product roadmap. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator, able to facilitate robust collaboration across teams, keen to construct a ‘bigger picture’ view and ‘whole systems’ approach to project development. A significant portion of this role is dedicated to Business Analysis responsibilities across different facets of software development / testing, so a strong appreciation of the full software development life cycle is necessary. Requirements: You’re educated to degree level (2.1 or above, BSc, MSc, PhD) computing or mathematical subject preferred You have notable experience in leading requirements elicitation and analysis for complex IT systems You have experience in the end-to-end development and delivery of complex IT systems You’re confident navigating competing demands of external stakeholders and can prioritise effectively You’re a positive, impactful leader, able to construct robust working relationships with colleagues across disciplines As a Business Analyst you will earn a highly competitive salary (to £60k) plus a comprehensive benefits package including a generous holiday allowance, health benefits, life assurance, annual company events and more.
